Our Mission
SGCC's Youth Ministry exists to partner with parents in discipling teens to become passionate followers of Christ; worshippers who let the Gospel shape every area of their lives and, in turn, influence others with it.
Our Approach
We believe parents are the primary spiritual influence in a teenager's life - not the church. As Scripture says, parents are to "bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord" (Eph. 6:4), and "teach them diligently to your children... when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise" (Deut. 6:7).
Our role is to support and equip parents, not replace them. That's why our teaching is designed to be transferable; useful at home, not just at a meeting.
How We Help
- Suggested resources for raising teens
- Take-home discussion questions for family conversations
- Parent meetings and one-on-one time with pastors
- Second Saturday Seminars - Parenting Teens Class
- Connecting parents with others who've navigated the teen years
Our Meetings Youth meets on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, 7:00–8:30 PM, alternating between the Campbell and Vaughn homes. Expect teaching, discussion, fellowship, snacks, and fun!
